What’s covered
- Manufacturing defects in main boards, displays, touch panels, cameras, harnesses, and included accessories
- Abnormal failure under normal vehicle voltage (12–14.6V) and recommended wiring
- Firmware bugs that materially affect core functions (boot, audio, CAN, camera feed)

What’s not covered
- Installation mistakes: cut/spliced looms, reversed polarity, unsupported harness adapters
- Physical damage: cracked screens, bent pins, broken brackets, stripped screws
- Liquid ingress, corrosion, heat damage, or evidence of short circuits
- Third-party flashing/rooting and non-Ikagoo firmware or unauthorized repairs
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, or consumables (adhesives, tapes) after use
If unsure, message support with photos/videos before uninstalling. We’ll confirm the path to protect coverage.
How to file a warranty claim
- Submit claim: provide order number, serial number, photos/videos, and the vehicle model/year via warranty form.
- Remote triage: we review logs, suggest quick checks, and provide firmware if needed.
- Ship to hub: pack with original foam; include RMA # outside the carton; use a trackable service.
- Inspect & test: bench + CAN tests replicate the issue; we keep you updated.
- Repair / replace: return shipping arranged after completion; tracking shared by email.
Resolution options & costs
- Repair: parts and labor covered when in-warranty.
- Replacement: like-for-like or nearest equivalent if the exact model is discontinued.
- Advance replacement: case-by-case; deposit may apply until the faulty unit is received.
- Dostava: In-warranty — inbound freight is customer-paid unless DOA/our error; return freight after warranty work is covered by Ikagoo. Out-of-warranty — customer pays both inbound and return freight.
Installer & environment guidelines
- Disconnect vehicle battery per manual; avoid voltage spikes during start/stop
- No cutting/splicing of harness—use plug-and-play looms and labeled adapters
- Route camera cables away from power lines to avoid interference
- Secure grounds; verify CAN settings and DIP/switch profiles match the vehicle trim
- Keep proof of install (photos/video); helpful for claim triage
Firmware & parts availability
- We provide stabilization firmware and necessary patches during the warranty term
- Common spares (screens, touch panels, harnesses, cameras) are stocked for typical models
- End-of-life or rare trims may shift to repair-first policy if like-for-like replacement is unavailable
